2014 Stanwick Race another success.

The Easter run for 2014 was well supported with a near capacity number of runners in the 10km and several running clubs returning to support us once again.
The Easter run is the only race the volunteer group organises and we appreciate the support of the local running groups and love seeing familiar faces year on year.
The weather this year was kind and we had wonderful sunshine unlike the icy chill of 2013. For the second year running we were able to offer chip timing, courtesy of Emit UK, who were incredibly professional and really took a weight off the organising teams shoulders.
The whole heart of the village pulled together to host the vast number of runners and supporters, the Stanwick Club, provided excellent support and the registration and awards location. The fantastic village hall offered baggage facilities and entertainment.
Proceeds from the race are passed back to community and village groups.
